Penguins!!

We love the holidays because we get to make yummy treats with Grandma Shike. This year, I found a recipe to make penguins. They turned out - messier than we had planned, but it was delicious fun!!

Downtown San Francisco with Grandma!!

After our walk we were hungry, so we went to Fisherman's Wharf for lunch! Alex loved her clam chowder in a bread bowl and Ben loved his crab.

GHIRARDELLI

We of course finished our day with a fabulous sundae from Ghirardelli! Delicious!

Yoda!

We walked through the Lucas Entertainment Campus and felt the force!

Golden Gate Bridge!

We had the most beautiful day. It has rained all week, but today is sunny, so we decided to come over to San Francisco and walk the Golden Gate Bridge. It is 1.5 miles each way. It was so much fun and the views were amazing. Thankful we brought the wagon so we could pull our coats!!

San Francisco

We played in the pools, found a star fish, and had a wonderful day with
Grandma Shike in San Francisco!!

Hair by Alex

Alex loves to play beauty shop - and Ben is the perfect customer. He plays with his crab shell and she brushes and dries his hair with her pink brush and pink hair dryer.

Budweiser Tour

We went to the Budweiser museum for a tour. I am not too sure who was more excited - Dan with free beer, or Alex and Ben with soda! Well- we loved the samples - and missed the tour! OPPS!

Jelly Belly Factory!

We love our Jelly Bellies! I think Alex and Ben have been on this tour over 5 times, and they still love it!! Me too!

Our First Christmas!

This was our first Christmas in our new house! We got our tree up, our Santa village, Ben Cub Scout wreath hung, and lots of holiday clutter crap placed all around. It looked very festive!

Jog-A-Thon

This morning was the Jog-A-Thon at school. Ben ran 8 laps! I was amazed. He ran almost the entire time. I was so proud of him, and you could tell that he was thrilled with himself too! Alex, well, she would run the portion of the track in front of me, and then walk and talk to her friends (or anyone around her for that matter) the rest of the track. But: every time she came around to where I was, she would pick up the pace and run, run, run. I could not help but laugh!

Leprechaun Stew

We had our lucky dinner - and Ben ate it! I wonder how long her will keep wearing his mask! He swore he saw Mr. McGillicuddy in the yard and that he scared PJ. I love their imaginations!

Pump It Up

Our friends, Josh and Dylan Bromley invited us to Pump It Up for a St. Patrick's Day celebration! It was the best! We are so lucky to have such great friends!!

Leprechauns

The Leprechauns came to school too! Alex and Ben thought it was so neat that the made a mess at school too. They were so excited that at snack, their applesauce turned green when they pulled back the lid! And then it turned their tongues green - even better!
