Class Polar Express

Their classroom did a Polar Express party today. Everyone wore their pajamas to school, got a bell to ring, and had a fabulous feast of grapes, hot chocolate, and cheese - which of course are some of Alex and Ben's favorites!

Frosty the Snowman

We joined Chase and Drew Peterson to see the holiday play Frosty the Snowman. It was very cute and they all really enjoyed it. I think Ben and Alex enjoyed finally being out of the house!

School Christmas Program

Alex and Ben had their school Christmas program today. They looked adorable in their gigantic white collars and huge red bows. It was so fun to watch. Little Mr. Ben got a little assertive and wanted to stand on the top - even after his Jedi light saber tackle tumble down fiasco. Alex is standing with her friends Leilani and Abby. Ben is with his buddy Corey.

Awanas

Tonight at Awanas it was not a regular club night but a special dinner for every one's family. We got to bring a dish to share, chicken nuggets of course, and celebrate Jesus' birth. We got to sing lots of Christmas carols by candle light - one of my favorite things! Alex and Ben loved the candles. Ben even did his best impersonation of the Statue of Liberty. Of course during the closing prayer, someones phone kept ringing, and ringing, and ringing...guess I forgot to remind him where we would be tonight. Oops!

Gingerbread cookies

Our buddies, Chase and Drew, came over tonight before Awanas for a drive-in Christmas movie; in our fabulous cars we made of course, and to decorate gingerbread people. It was so fun to watch them make their creation. Their gingerbread people were entirely covered with candy!

Christmas Ornaments

Alex and Ben went with their buddies, Chase and Drew Peterson, to Clay -N- Latte to paint Christmas ornaments. Ben choose a tree to paint and Alex picked out a Santa with no features on it. She got to completely paint it however she wanted. They both had so much fun. I can not wait to see how they turn out. Of course, no day painting is complete without a trip to Cold Stone ice cream afterwards. Alex picked cotton candy flavored and Ben picked double chocolate. Not sugar in those!

Christmas Lights

Alex and Ben got to help Dan hang up the Christmas lights on the house- it was fun to watch them tangle them as he tried to untangle. They are just so helpful!
