5:00 in the morning, Alex, Ben, and I went out to see the balloons take off. Early, yes, but the doughnut stand made it a fun, and delicious morning. The balloons were amazing! These huge glowing balls in the sky against a backdrop of black. As the sky brightened, we got to help unfold the balloons and watch them filled with air by huge fans, and then take off into the big, blue sky. It was definitely one of the most beautiful sites I have seen - stunning! It is hard to describe - nothing but black and a few balloon glows, then the next time you turn around, the sky is littered with various shapes gently and aimlessly lofting away. It was so neat! I hope to go back again!
