Alex had her Daisy Scout's Christmas Party at our house tonight. I am such an intelligent mom - allow the party with 15 six year old girls (and 1 Benjamin) making free standing gingerbread house, slathered in inches of frosting and hidden under pounds of gummy worms, M&Ms, red hots, smarties, sweet tarts, and every other imaginable confectionery treat, to be at my house. Lesson learned, next time ask what will they be doing before agreeing to host. The good news is that I am pretty sure that all of the excess birdseed from this afternoon is now stuck under all of the frosting!
