We began Awanas tonight. Alex and Ben are so ecstatic! They are Sparks this year. We are doing it at the New Community Church of Vista. They are most excited to have their buddy, Chase, in their Sparks group. Every time we mention Awanas, I get the inquiry, “Will Chase be there? Will he be in our group?” I am so glad they are excited to go and learn their bible verses each week. They did however get into trouble for talking too much…to Chase! I wonder where they got that.
