We are ready for our second week of school! We are equipped with our super fabulous new lunch boxes – Tinker Bell for Alex, of course, and Star Wars for Ben, like there was another option. They also wore their brand new, imported (or brought home) from Sweden by Dan, new Swatch watches. They are so spectacular. Alex’s is pink with pink sparkly jewels and Ben’s is blue with pirates and waves. They adore them and think they are such big kids with big kid watches – which of course they are!
Fortunately, there were no tears today, just an enormous bottom lip that Ben tripped over going into his classroom. I was very proud of him for being such a big boy. Alex announced to me today that she wants me to drop her off and she can walk into the school by herself. She is so grown up. Too bad I am not that grown up to do it!
